February 23, 1961 marked the 70th anniversary of his birth and 45 years of medical, scientific, pedagogical and social activities of the head of the department of nervous diseases of the Kazan Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians named after V.I.Lenin, member of the CPSU, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR and TASSR, Doctor of Medicine : Sciences, Professor Joseph Iosifovich Rusetsky.
