The relationship between the nature of road traffic accidents and the amount of alcohol in the blood

Abstract

Elucidation of the role of alcohol in traffic accidents in practice requires a quantitative determination of alcohol in the blood of drivers, since in 60-70% even an average degree of intoxication is not accompanied by sufficient clinical signs, and a mild degree is often not determined at all (1-3).
