Chronic pancreatitis

Abstract

Chronic diseases of the pancreas often remain outside the field of vision of practitioners, and if they are recognized, they are usually considered only as complications or concomitant diseases in various well-known dyspeptic syndromes; often they are found only by chance, already on the operating table or at autopsy.
