Remote Results of Radiotherapy of Esophagus Cancer
The results of radiotherapy of esophagus cancer in 127 patients are analyzed. It is noted that the life duration of patients depends on the incidence and localization of tumor process. The five-year survival of patients with esophagus cancer localized in the cervical and superthoracal parts of esophagus was 0. in the middle thoracal part was 3,2%, in the lower thoracal part was 11%, in all localizations was 4,7%. The immediate favourable result of radiotherapy was noted in 77% of the patients with esophagus cancer.
