Microbial allergy in patients with chronic destructive pulmonary tuberculosis

The aim of our work was to detect microbial allergy in patients with chronic destructive pulmonary tuberculosis. We followed up 114 patients, 14,9% of them were under 40 years old, 41 to 50-24,5%, 51 to 60-38,7%, 21,9% were aged over 61. The duration of TB disease up to 5 years was ascertained in 20.6% of examined patients, from 5 to 10 years - in 26.4%, from 10 to 20 years - in 24.5% and more than 21 years - in 28.5%.
