Long-term follow-up of a patient with sinus node weakness syndrome
A patient 3. 79 years old. In spring 1977 during in-patient examination he was first diagnosed with sinus node weakness syndrome. At that time the patient had no heart complaints, however, objective examination revealed systolic murmur over the whole irecardiac area, bradycardia (46-58 per 1 min), arterial hypertension, congestive moist rales in the lower lungs, pastosity of shins and feet was observed.
