Using genealogical analysis to identify children at increased risk of diabetes mellitus
In order to identify risk groups, genealogical analysis was performed on the pedigrees of 711 children who were on the dispensary registry in children's endocrinology offices in Saratov for various endocrine disorders. In addition, together with pediatric endocrinologists we conducted a targeted medical examination of 11978 children in 41 preschool institutions and 5 general education schools according to the screening program with the help of Glucotest.
