Complex treatment of facial boils and carbuncles

From 1974 to 1984, we followed up 210 patients (118 men and 92 women) with facial boils and carbuncles. The disease predominated in persons 16-25 years old (76%). The process was localized in the suborbital and cheek areas in 75 patients, in 37 - on the upper lip, in 18 - on the lower lip, in 12 - in the frontal area, in 38 - on the chin area, in 30 - on the corner of the mouth.
