II All-Union Congress of Hematologists and Transfusiologists
The Congress was attended by over 800 delegates and guests from Hungary, GDR, Poland, SRV and SFRY. In 5 plenary and 25 breakout sessions, reports were presented and discussed on the scientific and organisational principles and prospects for the development of blood and haematological care; blood, bone marrow and myelotransplantation preservation; blood substitutes and blood products; and new directions in transfusiology and haematology.
