Abstract

The congress was attended by about 3 thousand neurologists from all over the world. The Soviet Union was represented by 11 delegates - from Moscow, Leningrad, Minsk, Kazan, Kharkov. 4 main problems were discussed: neuroimmunology, neuromuscular diseases, disorders of consciousness and cognition, geographical factors in neurology. A special session was devoted to epilepsy.
