Abstract

Toxicosis of pregnancy is a relatively frequent and severe complication of pregnancy. Meanwhile, since the publication of GA Baksht's work "Pregnancy and Metabolism" in 1929, no major works on the issue of metabolism in normal and pathological pregnancy have been published in the domestic literature.
