Prevention of pyrosolone leukopenia with corticosteroid hormones

Abstract

Pyrazolone derivatives (butazolidine, butadione, pyrabutol) are effective antirheumatic agents. However, treatment with drugs of this group can be complicated by leukopenia - hypogranulocytopenia or agranulocytosis (G. G. Lebedeva, 1959; A. F. Taranenko, 1959; 3. I. Zilberman, 1963).
