In view of the fact that the usual methods of examining the urethra using bougie and urethroscope were insufficient, the speakers resorted to the X-ray method. The latter is still not widely used in urology. The speakers demonstrate a number of cases in which it was possible to clearly see the entire course, each anatomical and functional part of the urethra, and to establish any deviation from the norm (anomaly, stricture, displacement, expansion) on radiographs.
