Kazan medical journal ›› 1941, Vol. 37 ›› Issue (1) : 87 -87.
The authors dwell on some defects in the treatment of wounds, mainly due to insufficient training of surgeons. Concerning the question of stopping bleeding in the wound, they consider the use of a pressure bandage to be directly harmful, due to the introduction of infection deep into the wound.
