Treatment of burns in an outpatient setting
Despite the large number of works devoted to the treatment of burns, there is still a lack of clarity on the subject. Among the many ways to treat burns, the most popular is open treatment with potassium permanganate or tannin (Batman, Davidson). In the outpatient setting the open method is of little use (danger of infection!) and bandage treatment has to be applied.
