The use of local anesthesia according to Vishnevsky in emergency surgery and traumatology
Clinical observations, rich practical experience of surgeons from all countries and a number of experimental works have proved with certainty that both chloroform and ether, with any combination of them and with any method of administration into the body, are dangerous and often lead to death, if not on the operating table, then at a later date.
