Study of hemolytic streptococcus and properties of antistreptococcal serum. II. Delayed fibrinolysis by antistreptococcal serum
The author, having established earlier that almost all hemolytic streptococci pathogenic for humans, dissolve human plasma fibrin, in this study showed that the serum of the patient has the ability to delay the lysis of fibrin by streptococci. By immunizing horses with streptococci, the author obtained a serum with antilytic properties.
