The dependence of the clinical course of schizophrenia on the characteristics of the physique

The dependence of the clinical course of schizophrenia on the characteristics of the physique. The material for the report was 46 case histories of patients with schizophrenia. The physique is determined by the method of somatometric profiles, proposed by Dr. M. 11. Andreev. The muscular ones gave out flashes of excitement with visual hallucinations, with disorientation. Asthenics showed torpid current "simple" schizophrenia (schizophrenia simplex). Picnics revealed a remitting type of course with significant syntonic behavior and a more lively affective side.
