To the clinic of alveolar echinococcus of the liver
According to the descriptions available in the most common textbooks (Chistovich, Mehring, Konchalovsky, Mattes, Ewald), alveolar echinococcus of the liver has a malignant course and is extremely reminiscent of cancer or hypertrophic cirrhosis of the liver: progressive loss of strength of the patient, persistent and progressive jaundice, large hard and uneven liver, etc.
