General characteristics of the scientific work of I.P. Pavlov

Abstract

All of us were brought here by those common feelings that arouses in every cultured person the name of our great compatriot I.P. Pavlov - boundless gratitude for the great services that Pavlov rendered to humanity with his brilliant research, the deepest respect for him as a tireless teacher and leader in scientific activity of the overwhelming majority of our physiologists and clinicians and admiration for his enormous talent and inexhaustible energy. Pavlov is a figure of exceptional strength not only in the history of ours, but also in world science.
