Abstract

The study of the tularemia clinic in recent years has increasingly expanded our understanding of the disease. The works of American authors, based on more than 3,500 cases, descriptions in other countries (Japan, the USSR, Norway, Sweden, Canada, Tunisia) allow us to give an overview of the characteristics of this disease. It should be emphasized that tularemia in the USSR differs from the descriptions of the authors in the above-mentioned countries and is characterized by a milder form and a small mortality rate.
