The pathological and histological changes in rheumatism (vasculitis, perivascular hemorrhage and perivascular and vascular sclerosis, endothelial swelling of small vessels, etc.) described by Professor Talalayev should certainly direct doctors' thoughts towards understanding rheumatism as a vascular disease.
