Abstract

The diagnosis of pancreas diseases has recently been enriched with a new method - the Cammidge reaction. This reaction takes on the task of determining the nature of the disease of the pancreas in the urine. As a new and promising reaction, it was subjected to numerous observations and caused a number of rather contradictory opinions. The contradiction of the authors in the view of the essence and clinical significance of the reaction of Cammidge comes to the point that until the last time this reaction remains unjustified either from the chemical nature of the resulting crystals, or from its clinical significance.
