Changes in parenchymal organs in general gonococcal infection

Abstract

Both the abundant clinical observation and the pathological, histological and bacteriological knowledge, step by step, make it clear to us that the time has finally passed to look at gonococcal infection, as soon as the local process takes place, that gonococci in the various tissues and organs of the human organism are able to produce severe changes, often leading to death. In corroboration of my words, I could cite quite an abundance of clinical literature, often confirmed by bacteriology and histology, but I do not see the need for this in the first place, because it (although not everywhere in detail) has already been collected in various works on gonococcal infection, and in the second and foremost, because purely clinical literature is not directly related to my work. If, however, below I present clinical literature on the scope of general gonococcal infection, then I try to do this in general terms, grouping it by anatomical organs and tissues wherever possible.
