Use of catastrophe theory models for the forecasting of agricultural equipment reliability
The theory of dynamical systems and such catastrophe theory models as «fold» and «assembly» are considered. Divergence properties of the «assembly» catastrophe are illustrated. An alternative hypothesis is found under the analysis of the «assembly» model: the number of defective and failure machines reflects the level of their technical operation and is related to the quality of machines’ production, their maintenance and repair, as well as to the specific load on machine.
