Abstract

The Eleventh Meeting of the Parties (MOP-11) to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (Montreal Protocol) and other related events was attended by approximately 1,000 participants representing 128 country Parties to the Montreal Protocol and 2 non-Parties Montreal Protocol, 31 intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations, 48 ​​industrial corporations and companies, as well as about 50 observers from various environmental and public organizations. PRC President JIANG ZIEMIN and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) SHAFGAT AS AH spoke at the opening of the meeting
