Non-condensable impurities (air) in the refrigeration plant

Abstract

Non-condensable impurities (air) enter the refrigeration unit after installation or repair; through the seals on the suction line, if the boiling pressure is below atmospheric; from newly supplied units, heat exchangers, compressors filled with nitrogen; during the decomposition of oil with the formation of hydrocarbons.
