Practical application of water chillers
Recently, the food industry cannot be imagined without air conditioning units, cooling and freezing of semi-finished products and final products. Not a single modern enterprise can do without refrigeration equipment. In addition, enterprises with technological equipment that generates heat during operation (for example, machines for the production of plastic containers) need cold. Most refrigeration units are designed to cool water and other liquids with a lower freezing point. Examples of the use of water-cooling equipment can be listed endlessly: this is the cooling of milk, beer, wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, candy mass on cooling tables, poultry carcasses, ham, sausages after heat treatment and, of course, air conditioning in rooms. There are many varieties and modifications of water-cooling units depending on their purpose and cooling capacity, installation location, operating mode, cooling scheme. Of great importance are the type of cooled liquid (food or technical), its required final temperature, temperature difference before and after cooling. This article briefly discusses the most common cooling schemes and their respective plant modifications.
