Tsan-Ming CHOI is a management scientist, operations researcher and systems engineer. He is now director of the Centre for Supply Chain Research, and chair in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Management School of University of Liverpool, UK. He has published extensively in leading journals in the fields of operations management, engineering management, logistics, and supply chain management. He is also serving the academic community as the co-editor-in-chief of Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, senior editor of Production and Operations Management and Decision Support Systems, department editor of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, associate editor of Decision Sciences and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, and editorial board member of International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and International Transactions in Operational Research. Over the past two decades, he has served as an officer/exco member/secretary/treasurer of professional societies such as Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) (HK), IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (HK), and IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (HK). Since 2020, he has been consistently ranked by P-Rank as a top 25 most productive researcher (in business and economics) in all related journal ranking lists in the world. He is also listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate and a Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University

Alexandre DOLGUI is an Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Fellow, distinguished professor and the head of the Department Automation, Production and Computer Sciences at the IMT Atlantique, France. His research focuses on manufacturing line design, production planning and supply chain optimization under uncertainty. His main results are based on the exact mathematical programming methods and control theory algorithms and their intelligent coupling with heuristics and metaheuristics. He is the co-author of 5 books, the co-editor of 30 books or conference proceedings, and the author of 290 refereed journal papers, 32 editorials and 32 book chapters as well as over 400 papers in conference proceedings. He is the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Production Research, area editor of Computers & Industrial Engineering, former associate editor of Omega and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, guest editor of special issues for European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Omega, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, etc., member of editorial boards of 30 international journals, member of the board of International Foundation for Production Research, former chair of International Federation of Automatic Control Technical Committee 5.2 on manufacturing modeling for management and control (now vice-chair), active fellow of European Academy for Industrial Management, member of International Federation for Information Processing Working Group 5.7 on advances in production management systems, IEEE System Council Analytics and Risk Technical Committee, and laureate of many French and international awards and honors

Guo LI is a professor of Operations Management at the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. He obtained his Ph.D. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. His research interests include supply chain management, data driven decision analytics, and operation management and marketing interface. He has authored/edited several research handbooks and published over 70 papers in peer-refereed academic journals such as Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, International Journal of Production Economics, Annals of Operations Research, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Transactions in Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. He has been featured in the list of World’s Top 2% Scientists published by Stanford University (2022). He is currently serving as senior editor for Information Technology & People, associate editor for Decision Sciences and International Journal of Advanced Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing, managing guest editor for Annals of Operations Research, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Business Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Electronic Commerce Research, and editorial review board member for Production and Operations Management and International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications

Suresh P. SETHI is Eugene McDermott Chair Professor of Operations Management and director of the Center for Intelligent Supply Networks at The University of Texas at Dallas, USA. He has written 11 books and published over 400 research papers in the fields of manufacturing and operations management, finance and economics, marketing, and optimization theory. He initiated and developed the doctoral programs in operations management at both The University of Texas at Dallas, USA and University of Toronto, Canada. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals including Production and Operations Management and SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization. He was named Fellow of The Royal Society of Canada in 1994. Two conferences were organized and two books has been edited in his honor in 2005–2006. Other honors include: IEEE Fellow (2001), Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Fellow (2003), American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow (2003), POMS Fellow (2005), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Distinguished Alumni (2008), Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics Fellow (2009), POMS President (2012), INFORMS Fellows Selection Committee (2014–2016), Alumni Achievement Award of Tepper School of Business of Carnegie Mellon University (2015), Best Paper Award named after him by POMS (2022), etc. He also has been a great supervisor to many doctoral and post-doctoral students

Xiaohang YUE received the Ph.D. degree in operations management from The University of Texas at Dallas, USA. He is currently a professor of Supply Chain/Operations Management with the Lubar School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. He has published more than 50 articles in leading journals, such as Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Information System Research, Naval Research Logistics, Decision Sciences, IIE Transactions, IEEE Transactions series journals, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, International Journal of Production Economics and Journal of Business Research. He is currently serving as the senior editor for Production and Operations Management, and editorial advisory board member for Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review
