This article expounds the basic stages of development of a professional standard «forensic medical expert» and noted issues to be addressed in the short term. Approaches to the development of professional standards, stages of development and implementation have been analyzed. Specific terminology has been considered: the current definitions of «professional standard» and «qualification» have been clarified. The article describes the state of the issue of development of professional standards in healthcare.

Used modeling method that simulates the development of traumatic brain injury.The purpose of the work to establish the mechanism of injury for different parameters width elongated flat objects and shocks. Аn experiment designed to determine the mechanism of injury and the force of impact with different width elongated flat objects.The results allow us to establish the shape of the object; and the force of impact.Also installed are some aspects of the mechanism of the basal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Abstract: The aim of our work was to analyze existing research methods of investigating damage to human tissues and to search for and develop modern methods of diagnosis of lifetime and postmortem changes of biological tissues and bodily fluids for solving forensic science and practice problems. In particular, we investigated the establishment of the time of death for various causes, the time of formation of hematomas, lifetime of injury formation and diagnosis of acute myocardial ischemia.
Abstract: The main features of the ridged skin of palms at the men who committed serious crimes against life and health of the person (murders, deliberate causing of heavy harm to health and rapes) are investigated. All of them are classified in the group of persons with an increased aggressiveness. The obtained results are recommended for use in various areas of criminalistics, criminology, forensic medicine and psychiatry, are revealed.
The article analyzes and investigates conducted expert studies in cases of sampling organs from the body for transplantation in order to develop optimal algorithm for forensic experts in the study of such corpses starting from investigation of medical documents, the correct description of the traces and consequences of medical procedures related to the organs sampling, continuing with the interpretation of conclusions about injuries, cause of death and other issues.
DNA analysis in the laboratory were done in the sperm /semen/ of criminal evidence from the vaginal swab of the sexually abused children and her blood. Genomic DNA extracted from the blood and sperm /semen/ which left on criminal evidence and vaginal swab of the sexually abused children by selective method, and microsatellite loci of the genotypes of autosome and haplotypes of Y choromosome has analysed from criminal evidence and published the results of a DNA analysis.
The article considers topical issues of forensic medicine and expert practice, which were discussed by specialized experts in the international scientific-practical conference in Moscow in April 2016. This forum is dedicated to the memory of Professor V.N. Krukov, brought together leading representatives of domestic and foreign forensic medical industry, including his pupils and followers.
Except classical methods the article suggests a fundamentally new method for studying the history of national forensic medicine – scientometric method. This new method could be a powerful tool for historical research, because it will provide a quantitative approach to the assessment of the phenomena. Modification options of scientometric method for increasing its informational content were suggested.

The article is dedicated to the path morphology of chronic subdural hematoma. Possible reasons for its formation are discussed, positions, which can be a differential diagnosis between traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, are suggested.
