The article presents the results of scientific researches concerning the substantiation of optimum and admissible operating modes for machine-and-tractor unit, taking into account the operating conditions, an applied field inspection method, and also the functionality of operator in the course of control and driving.
The article considers a new grain crops harvesting technology with the possibility of post-harvest operations' combining. The Torum-740 combine practical use in soya harvesting with simultaneous skimming has been analyzed.
As a result of accumulated operating experience of simple highly productive diskers with individual suspension of discs on spring-loaded carriers, which exclude their clogging with the plant residues, a decrease in grain crop yields was noticed in consequence of the soil compaction. The causes of this phenomenon and the factors that influence its appearance were analysed, some recommendations for minimizing the negative effects were given.
A method of forecasting the technical state of mobile agricultural equipment, based on the laws of change in the probability of failures in units under test, is suggested.
In this article the speed range of agricultural class 6 caterpillar farm tractor (experimental model) is considered, its shortcomings in comparison with the speed range of John Deere 8520T tractor are mentioned. To remove these shortcomings, some variants of modifying the transmission's kinematic diagram are proposed.
A method for calculating the complex rotor dynamic stability, taking into account the distribution of mass of the shaft along the length and the variable-rate rigidity, is presented.
The use of integral indices in the measuring expert system of internal combustion engine is concidered.
The mechanism of load transfer in an automatic axial brake with opening surfaces is considered, the sequence of its main parameters' calculation is suggested.
A model of three-level system of storage facilities architecture in the structure of agricultural sector is developed on the basis of grain and forage combine harvesters' failure statistics.
The cells are filled with pelleted seeds in reverse direction, that is from the center of the disc to its periphery, when the internal space of distributor is already filled with seeds. In this case the centrifugal force doesn't block the seeds, but helps their penetration in every point of the disc. The application of this feed method considerably widens the filling zone and contributes to improve the seed distributor's work.
The theoretical analysis and substantiation of parameters of disk chopping apparatus of forage harvester in the cutting plane are presented. A mathematical model of disk type chopping apparatus with rectilineal knives is developed. The comparative analysis and optimization of the existing parameters of chopping apparatus of three forage harvesters are carried out.
The influence of diameter and length of the polyethylene pipelines of Bauer drum-type machines (Rainstar models) for strip irrigation on specific capital costs is considered. Three schemes of an irrigated field are analysed. Optimal diameters and lengths of polyethylene pipelines are established, which correspond to the minimum specific costs.
Paper presents the design of an electrohydraulic perforating machine based on Yutkin effect, also known as electrohydraulic effect (EHE). The use of this EHE perforating machine will allow to adjust the impact value and frequency in automatic regime, to reduce noiseness and to increase the ecological safety. To explore the possibilities of the developed device a laboratory facility was designed. It was used to test the EHE perforating machine's mode of functioning and performance.
The experimental data concerning the effect of diesel fuel saturation with air or other gases on the ecological and economical characteristics of 1Ч8,5/11,5 swirl-chamber diesel are brought. The possibility of reducing the toxicity and especially the opacity of exhaust gases with some fuel economy increase is shown.
The methodological aspects of statistical modeling of time series characterizing tractor market are considered. An improved methodology for selecting the optimal statistical model by means of linear programming is suggested.
The results of calculation of benefit from sugar beet growing are given, taking into account direct operating costs and losses caused by early harvesting. Some formulas for calculating the optimal load of harvesters are suggested. As an example, the economical parameters of self-propelled beet harvesters for various rows of foreign and domestic production are compared.
