Dr. Zhili Huang is chairman of the China Sleep Research Association, Winner of the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2006), Shanghai Leading Talents, and Outstanding Academic Leaders in Shanghai, Distinguished Professor of Fudan University, Postdoctoral Supervisor, Dean of the Department of Pharmacology, and Director of the Medical Personnel Office of Fudan University, Executive Director of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, Chairman-designate of the Anesthetic Pharmacology Committee. His research interests are sleep and insomnia mechanisms and intervention strategies, neuropsychopharmacology. And he has published 150 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Neuroscience, Molecular Psychiatry, Nature Communications, Brain, PNAS, etc. With a cumulative impact factor of over 850, he has been listed on Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in Chinese academic papers. Also, he is the deputy editor of Frontier in Neurosci, Sleep and Breathing, Sleep Biol Rhythms and Sleep (Chinese Verison) etc. As the Chief scientist of major projects of China Brain Project, he presides over 24 key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, key national cooperation projects, major projects of the Military Science and Technology Commission, etc., with funds exceed 84 million RMB.
