Call for Papers of Special Issue for
2019 China Urban Water Environment and Water Ecology Development Conference
We announce that a Special Issue of Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering (FESE) Journal for China Water Environment and Water Ecology will be based on a set of selected papers from 2019 China Urban Water Environment and Water Ecology Development Forum (2019 UWEWE), to be held in China from July 2019.
In recent years, the quality of water environment and water ecology development in China has improved continuously, but the task is still arduous. The problems of poor environmental quality, shortage of water resources, complex pollutants, serious ecological damage, prominent environmental risks and imperfect management mechanism are still prominent, which have become outstanding shortcomings in the realization of the strategic objectives of national ecological civilization construction. This urgently requires the cooperation of government management departments, universities, scientific research institutes, enterprises and institutions and related organizations to carry out theoretical innovation, management innovation and scientific and technological innovation so as to contribute effectively to the healthy development of water environment and water ecology in China.
The Water Environment and Water Ecology Branch of China Urban Science Research Association organized this forum to gather the best experts, government officials and entrepreneurs in the industry to make in-depth analysis and full consideration of outstanding issues in the field of urban water environment and water ecology;Actively responding to the strategy of building the Yangtze River Economic Zone put forward by the CPC Central Committee, focusing on how to solve the problem of the Yangtze River great protection, sets up special topics to interpret the situation and tasks, and jointly discusses the direction of scientific and technological innovation of the great protection strategy, providing strong support for the economic and ecological double-speed development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.

Topic 3: Recycling and Recycling of Urban Water Treatment Resources

Topic 6: Technological and Product Innovation in the Field of Urban Sewage Treatment
Topic 7: Continuous Safe Operation of Urban Water Treatment Facilities
Topic 8: Ecological Risk Control and Management of Urban Water Environment
Topic 9: Industrial Park Water Management
Topic 10: Intelligent Management of Water Quality Objectives
Papers for the special issue will be selected based on the quality among those submitted in 2019 UWEWE. All papers must be prepared well following the format of FESE and it will be peer reviewed.
Tentative Schedule
To submit, send your full research paper to FESE by June 25, 2019 for review. Authors will be asked to submit their papers through the platform as below:
