Frontiers of Business Research in China (FBR, ISSN 1673-7326; e-ISSN 1673-7431; CN11-5746/F) will organize its 4th International Symposium in conjunction with the School of Business, Renmin University of China, and Higher Education Press in Beijing, China on May 26-27, 2017. The Symposium cordially invites submission of original research papers and cases in all areas of business administration. Major areas of interest include but are not limited to: accounting, finance, human resources, international business, management information systems, managerial economics, marketing, operations management, organizational behavior, and strategic management. The theme of the 2017 symposium is “Global Connectedness, Interdisciplinary Interaction, and Innovations”.

BEST PAPER AWARDS AND PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES: The Symposium will offer two Best Paper Awards, two Young Scholar Best Paper Awards, and one Best Case Study Award. A selected set of papers and cases will be invited for publication consideration at the FBR.

MEET WITH JOURNAL EDITORS: A round-table discussion session will be held between symposium participants, publishers, and editors of leading international journals on how to develop articles for publication.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Interested authors should submit their papers or extended abstracts either at the symposium’s website http://fbr.rbs.ruc.edu.cn or by e-mail to fbr@rbs.ruc.edu.cn by March 31, 2017. There is no submission fee. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by April 20, 2017.

REGISTRATION:At least one author is required to register by May 5, 2017 to secure a final acceptance of the paper on the program. To register, please register on-line at the symposium’s website. The registration fee is RMB 700 (or US$105) if register before 5 May 2017, or RMB 900 (US$130) after 5 May 2017. The symposium provides a 40% registration fee discount to graduate students.

ABOUT FBR: Created in 2007, FBR is a double-blind refereed quarterly journal in business research. FBR offers a multidisciplinary forum for academics, practitioners, and policy makers that focuses on business administration, and encourages interdisciplinary studies and interactions between Chinese and international researchers.
