Frontiers of Business Research in China is pleased to announce its 5th Annual Conference in Beijing, China on June 10-12, 2018. The Conference cordially invites submission of original research papers and case studies in all areas of business administration. Major areas of interest include but are not limited to Accounting, Finance, Human resources, International business, Management information systems, Managerial economics, Marketing, Operations management, Organizational behavior, and Strategic management. Presentations of research papers, panel discussions, and workshops will begin on June 11 and end on June 12. A Doctoral Consortium will be held on Sunday, June 10.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: For conference presentation, please visit the conference website at http://fbr.rmbs.ruc.edu.cn to submit a copy of a completed paper or an extend abstracts (with at least 500 words) by April 10, 2018. The cover page should include the name, affiliation, and contact information of the authors. Papers for publication at the FBR should also be uploaded to the journal’s Springer-Open website: https://fbr.springeropen.com.

PAPER AWARDS: Please include of whether you would like your paper to be considered for any of the following awards: Best Paper Award (prize RMB 4,000), Best Young Scholar Paper Award (prize RMB 3,000), and Best Case Study Award (prize RMB 3,000).

DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM: Doctoral Consortium includes a panel session with distinguished scholars discussing the latest advances in research, specifically, Experience Sampling Method (ESM) training and application. The breakout sessions give participants the opportunity to present dissertation proposals, receive feedback, and career advice from the panelists. To apply for the Doctoral Consortium, students must complete the online application and submit a 3-5 pages dissertation proposal, and one recommendation letter from their supervisors. Attending the consortium is free for accepted consortium participants; those who also attend the following FBR annual conference will receive a 50% registration fee discount.

REGISTRATION: The Conference requires at least one author to register by May 15, 2018 to secure a final acceptance of the paper on the program. To register, please register on-line at the Conference’s website. The registration fee is RMB 700 (or US$105) if register before 15 May 2018, or RMB 900 (US$135) after. A 50% registration fee discount is applied to graduate students. Registered participants can attend the Conference and all social functions, including tea breaks and meals. Participants should cover their own hotel and travel expenses.

FBR encourages interdisciplinary studies and interactions between Chinese and international researchers in the broad of business administration. FBR is abstracted and indexed in all major international databases including EconLit, ESCI, INSPEC, SCOPUS, and ProQuest. FBR awarded the Excellent International Impact Academic Journal of China in 2014, 2016, and 2017, respectively.
